Kids Halloween Movies

If you've been to our house, you know we're a movie / tv watching family. Even with Jackson - yes, the tv is on. Our normal line-up? Trolls, Sing, Moana & Lion King with appearances of Octonauts & StoryBots when we're over movies. But it's officially Holiday season so now it's finally acceptable to watch Nightmare Before Christmas everyday, right? Here's my list of movies J & I will be watching on the daily throughout October. Note: I'm realizing some of these are already incorporated into life so that's nothing new LOL.

1. NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Those closest to me know & understand my love & adoration for all things Tim Burton so naturally, NIGHTMARE is at the top of my list. But I'm hoping Danny Elfman's songs put him in a trance.

WHERE TO WATCH: Netflix.

2. ADDAMS FAMILY / ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES

The very first time I changed Jackson's diaper at home, I started singing the Addams Family theme song to distract him. I still sing it to him & he always smiles. These movies are necessary.

WHERE TO WATCH: Hulu

3. CORALINE

I remember reading this book as a kid. When I heard a movie was being made so I quickly reread it & realized how frickin weird this concept was. Love it though!

WHERE TO WATCH: Netflix

4. CORPSE BRIDE

Not one of my favorites but definitely needs to be included. Plus, I need my Johnny Depp & Helena Bonham Carter fix. Again, Tim Burton.

WHERE TO WATCH: Netflix

5. HOCUS POCUS

A Halloween movie list is not complete with the Sanderson Sisters. Heard the sequel is FINALLY coming out but with a different cast :( I'll still be watching but silently judging.

WHERE TO WATCH: Amazon $2.99

6. HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA / 2

So we already watch this on the regular as well which I'm surprised because they're really aren't songs. But J enjoys its & it's managable for adults so it's a win!

WHERE TO WATCH: Netflix

Of course, there are SO many other movies that also need to be watched for Halloween (both scary & entertaining) but this is just what I'll be watching with Jackson during October. Happy Halloween!
