Christmas Tree Cutdown 2017

Last year, we started the tradition of cutting down our own live Christmas Tree & this is something we definitely plan to continue! Hubert's in Seabeck has such a large collection of different trees & all you need is a vehicle to take it home. They'll supply you with a selection, a saw, a tree shake to get rid of extra needle & / or bugs, twine & even a cup of hot cocoa!

This year, we went much smaller & got a tree that Matt could put on the van by himself. It was about $30 cheaper & I'm as tall as it haha. I'm sure Santa was there last year but we didn't feel the need to see him since I was still pregnant (had Jackson the following weekend). However, we made sure to see him in "Santa's Workshop" this year & it resulted in the best picture of the day, if not the season. Take a look at the bottom!

The tree is officially up in the house! Now, we just have to decorate. Any tip & tricks to tree decorating with a toddler & a dog that brings branches in the house by the hour? LOL
